Good Monday Morning!
We alert you today of every hard working and faithful single mother. She was steadily employed for year prior to being laid off in February of this year. She is currently interviewing and has some promising opportunities. We are continuing to pray with her for her employment.
She has been divorced from the father of their two children for 4 years and he does not pay child support. The child support is court ordered, but he has skipped town and can not be located.
She is a longtime member of a church that is not one of our church partners. She approached that local community for help, but she missed her opportunity for financial support. She was unfamiliar with their system and therefore asked for help too late. They are out of funds until June. However, she has volunteered at one of our local church partner's food pantry for 4 years and approached our church partner for help...we are glad she did!
She is very late on her April rent, but her landlord is patient because she has never been even a day late in the 2 years she has lived at the property.
Her total rent is $1,275 per month. She has a portion of it, but she lacks $800 to meet this need. |
