Man Hospitalized for 7 Days Needs A Little Hand Up – Need 16.18 – Goal Met!

Story

Good Afternoon.

We alert you today of a fairly simple need. We are working with a  52 year old man that was forced into the hospital for 7 days with heart issues. He works in customer service as a contractor and is not offered sick leave.

It is the company's policy that if employees request personal time off that it must be 30 days at a time. In an effort to insure that he could keep his employment he had to take the 30 days personal leave. (At the time he did not know how long he would be in the hospital)

Now he needs help with his rent. He is $490 behind and if it is not paid by the end of this month he will face eviction. This is a working man that has run into real health issues without a very flexible work attendance policy. We would like to provide him relief.
