Story
We alert you today to single mother that has lost her job. She was working in administration at a local university where she was laid off earlier this month. She has been living paycheck to paycheck, and the lost income has put her and her high school daughter in danger of being evicted. They have no family support. We are working with her closely on regaining employment and have provided her with food through our local partner. Her rent is due in a few days, and we want to help her by securing her housing while working with her to gain new employment. We are also going to provide financial counseling after addressing these urgent needs.
