Nicaraguan Missionary Needs Dental Work – Need 17.45

Story

We alert you today of a full-time missionary in Nicaragua that is serious need of dental work. We are working closely with her through one of our local church partners. When she was just 21 years old she was in a severe car accident that caused serious injuries to her mouth and teeth. As a result, she has been dealing with dental issues stemming from the trauma for her entire adult life.

She has a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with specializations in Trauma Recovery and Child and Adolescents. She is in Nicaragua starting an internship-based training center to teach psychologists (their title in Nicaragua for those who have completed a little more than a bachelor's degree in psychology) and pastors in good counseling skills and trauma recovery skills that rely on the client connecting to the person of Jesus in the memory, emotions and beliefs connected to or experienced from trauma.

She is dealing with a serious dental issue while in the mission field and needs a little help outside of her normal monthly donors to get the much needed dental work. We would like to help her with the dental care.

We are going to do this need a little differently than normal. We are going to leave the need open until Monday morning at 9 am. We listed the entire dental need in this Alert, and will leave it open for the specified time frame. Monday morning at 9 am EDT we will close the need and direct the relief money through our local partner.

Need

- Six unit bridge from tooth number 6-7-8-9-10-11 (upper) in emax or zirconia at $386 each cost $2,316.

- Root canal on pillar tooth #6 and build up with post cost $260.

- 3 unit bridge from tooth number 22-23-24 (lower) in zirconia at $386 each cost $1,158.

- Root canal on pillar tooth #24 to the bottom bridge costs $250.

In total $3,984 for full-mouth restoration less the $500.00 that has already been raised.
